Hanover
Hanover is a leading, independent, non-profit organisation providing programs and services for people experiencing homelessness or housing crisis in Victoria.
Our mission is to empower people who are homeless, or at imminent risk of becoming so, to enable them to take greater control over their lives.
For Hanover, homelessness is much more than just a lack of shelter. It also means not having a supportive environment in which to live, with people who care about each other, where you feel safe, secure and have a sense of personal space and privacy.
Working with women, youth, families, children, couples and singles, Hanover has a comprehensive response to homelessness.
Our services include: programs to prevent people from becoming homeless, emergency accommodation, medium and long term housing and employment services.
Keeping kids in school, assisting people to settle into their new home and local community and giving them the skills they need to look after their health and wellbeing, are also an important aspect of our work.
With a proud history of conducting insightful research into the causes and consequences of homelessness, Hanover is a leading advocate against poverty and disadvantage, successfully generating social change.
Help us break the cycle of homelessness by participating in the Hanover ConnectEast Ride for Home.

ConnectEast Group
ConnectEast is proud to be a founding partner of the Hanover ConnectEast Ride for Home. As the owner and operator of EastLink, ConnectEast is completely closing the 39km motorway and forgoing the toll revenue of more than $100,000. ConnectEast is also providing extensive administrative support for the event.
ConnectEast is an ASX listed company based in Ringwood, with more than 30,000 investors. The motorway opened in mid-2008 and provides the fast-growing eastern and southern regions of Melbourne with a more efficient and accessible transport network. EastLink is one of Melbourne's busiest and safest roads with direct connections to the Eastern, Monash and Frankston Freeways.
ConnectEast is also pleased to have provided the 35km EastLink Trail for the enjoyment of local cyclists and walkers. Starting just east of Mitcham Road in Donvale, the three metre wide concrete path winds its way through the Mullum Mullum Valley and heads south connecting to the Dandenong Creek Trail and beyond.
ConnectEast's $5m 'EastLink Collection' represents the largest commitment to public art on a major road in Australia and complements the already high standard of urban design achieved on the motorway. In addition to the four major artworks, ConnectEast also funded a collection of smaller scale pieces located along the EastLink Trail.
